Celebrating International Children’s Book Day: A Tribute to SECUREIT’s Tia’leon’s Passion for Books and Writing

At SECUREIT, we believe in the power of books to inspire, educate, and entertain. In celebration of International Children’s Book Day on April 2nd—commemorating the birthday of beloved author Hans Christian Andersen—we take a moment to honour one of our own team members, Tia’leon, whose deep love for children’s books and her journey as both a reader and writer are truly inspiring.

From an early age, Tia’leon developed a passion for reading, a hobby that quickly grew into an extraordinary collection. As a child, she accumulated so many books that her bedroom was soon transformed with a bespoke set of bookshelves designed to house her ever-expanding library. Her love for reading not only shaped her childhood, but also laid the foundation for her current role as an Administrative Assistant here at SECUREIT.

But Tia’leon’s journey doesn’t end with her admiration for the written word. Over the years, she has blossomed into an accomplished writer herself, penning five novels to date. Her fantasy trilogy, World of Silver, World of Gold, and World of Platinum, has captivated the hearts of young readers and is rapidly building a loyal following. Tia’leon’s vivid imagination and knack for storytelling allow her to transport readers into magical worlds, full of adventure and wonder.

As we celebrate International Children’s Book Day, we acknowledge the power of books to spark curiosity, broaden minds, and provide an escape into imaginative realms. Tia’leon’s story is a testament to the lifelong journey that books can offer—whether as a cherished childhood pastime or as the inspiration for creating stories of one’s own.

At SECUREIT, we are proud of Tia’leon’s achievements as both a reader and a writer. Her passion for children’s literature is something that resonates deeply with our values, and we look forward to supporting her as she continues to inspire and shape the next generation of readers and writers.

Happy International Children’s Book Day 2025 from all us at fire prevention and CCTV security company SECUREIT here in Bridgend. May it spark a lifelong love of reading in everyone.
