Celebrating Sibling Strength at SECUREIT: Joshua & Tia’leon Popham on Working Together in the Family Business
At SECUREIT, we’ve always believed that family is at the heart of everything we do. As a proud family-run business, headquartered near Bridgend in South Wales, it’s our strong values, close-knit team, and shared commitment that have helped us build a trusted reputation in the fire prevention and CCTV camera and monitoring security sector.
That’s why, this National Siblings Day (April 10th), we’re delighted to shine a spotlight on two of our own: Joshua and Tia’leon Popham — a dynamic brother-and-sister duo who are an integral part of the SECUREIT story.
National Siblings Day, founded by Claudia Evart in memory of her siblings, is a chance to celebrate the unique bond that brothers and sisters share. And for Joshua and Tia’leon, that bond extends beyond family life and into the workplace, where their talents and teamwork are helping SECUREIT go from strength to strength.
Joshua works as our Digital Marketing Executive, using his creativity and strategic thinking to raise the profile of SECUREIT across South Wales and the South West. From engaging social campaigns to driving awareness of our innovative CCTV and site security solutions, Joshua ensures our message is seen and heard.
Tia’leon, meanwhile, is the friendly and organised force behind the scenes as an Administrative Assistant. Supporting day-to-day operations, she plays a key role in making sure the business runs smoothly, from customer service to internal coordination.
Together, their contributions highlight what makes SECUREIT so special: family values, teamwork, and a shared passion for protecting people, property, and businesses.
Reflecting on the experience of working daily with his sibling, Joshua shared:
“Working with my sister is a real privilege. We know each other so well, and that trust and understanding helps us work efficiently and support each other in a unique way. There’s a real sense of pride in knowing we’re both playing a part in the family business and helping it grow.”
Tia’leon added:
“Being part of SECUREIT means a lot to me, and getting to work alongside my brother makes it even better. We’ve grown up together, and now we’re growing something meaningful together too. It’s so rewarding to contribute to something that matters to our whole family.”
As SECUREIT continues to deliver high-quality security solutions to clients across Swansea, Cardiff, Newport, Bristol, and beyond, it’s the dedication of team members like Joshua and Tia’leon that keeps the business grounded, connected, and thriving.
This National Siblings Day, we celebrate their bond and hard work in the business — and the strength that family brings to everything we do.
