At SECUREIT, one of the fastest growing fire prevention and CCTV security solutions providers in Wales, we are encouraged by the recent surge in business confidence across the country.
According to the latest Lloyds Business Barometer, confidence in Wales jumped by 21 points in May to 36%. Welsh companies expressed growing optimism in both their own prospects and the wider economy. Most notably, 52% of businesses surveyed reported a positive outlook on their performance – up 28 points from April – and a net balance of 23% expect to grow their teams in the year ahead.
Welsh businesses are actively looking toward growth areas such as AI and automation (45%), new markets (39%), and evolving their offerings (35%). These indicators signal a solid path forward for the regional economy and reflect the energy and ambition we see daily in the sectors we support.
At SECUREIT, we are proud to work closely with key growth industries like construction, where confidence has reached a nine-month high. As businesses plan to innovate and scale, robust security and fire prevention systems will be crucial to safeguarding their operations, assets, and people.
