Fire alarm systems provide an early warning of a fire issue thus allowing additional time for a safe evacuation of the facility and in some cases, automate a call to your local fire service prior to the fire becoming destructive.​

The type of fire detection and alarm system you require is dependent on how the building is used – a residential home for instance, would need a higher level of protection than an office environment as the risk to life is much greater. The different levels of protection are referred to as the “category” and must be decided by a Fire Risk Assessor. If you’ve had a Fire Risk Assessment carried out the category should be stated within the report. Our team will need to know what category of system is required prior to any testing or maintenance of your system.

Our experienced engineers are able to design, install and commission new or upgraded systems as well as servicing existing, where a suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment is in place.​

Additionally, our servicing agreement package, we will provide 24-hour callouts to your facility to ensure you have access to an engineer should you need it. A servicing contract is required for compliance with fire safety regulations.​

FIRE RISK ASSESSMENT

A Fire Risk Assessment is central to your compliance with fire safety legislation. Since the 1st of October 2006 the law has required every company to carry out a suitable and sufficient Fire Risk Assessment as required by The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order. We provide each of our customers with a comprehensive and detailed Fire Risk Assessment report carried out by one of our qualified and registered (Institute of Fire Safety Managers Tiered Fire Risk Assessors Register).
