At SECUREIT, we’re proud to work with some of the most forward-thinking developers in Wales—and Llanmoor Homes is no exception. As a long-term partner in site security, we’ve helped them protect their construction sites with state-of-the-art CCTV and security systems. But Llanmoor’s commitment to progress doesn’t stop at safety—it extends to sustainability too.
Llanmoor Homes is investing over £3 million to install air source heat pumps in all of its new build homes. This innovative move further enhances the energy efficiency of their developments and places them firmly at the forefront of low-carbon housing in Wales.
Starting from summer 2025, all new homes built by Llanmoor will include this renewable heating technology, replacing traditional gas boilers. These air source heat pumps operate by extracting heat from the air outside and converting it into energy to power home heating and hot water systems. This shift aligns with the Welsh Government’s target of installing 580,000 heat pumps across the country by 2035.
With up to 150 homes set to benefit annually over the next two years, the first installations will take place at Rossers Field in Govilon, Parc Tondu in Bridgend – not far from our own head office in Brynmenyn – and Saint Sannans Field in Aberbargoed.
At SECUREIT, we believe in supporting businesses that are not only building for today but also planning for a more sustainable tomorrow.
Philip Popham, Managing Director at SECUREIT, said:
