At SECUREIT, we believe that great businesses don’t just deliver products — they build people. That’s why we were pleased to read about the Career Development Institute’s (CDI) recent Valuing Careers campaign, launched at the Senedd.
The campaign highlights the importance of strategic investment in career guidance across the UK, with a focus on preparing individuals for growth sectors like technology, green energy, and advanced manufacturing. It also emphasises the unique advantage in Wales, where government-funded services like Careers Wales provide accessible, all-age guidance. This integrated approach is essential to helping individuals fulfil their potential while meeting the evolving skills needs of the Welsh economy.
At SECUREIT, we stand firmly behind this initiative.
We know from experience that career development changes lives — and strengthens businesses. Over the past two decades, we’ve seen apprentices become engineers, trainees rise to leadership roles, and talented professionals from across industries find a long-term home with us.
From school leavers to experienced executives, from first jobs to career pivots, working at SECUREIT offers more than just a paycheque — it offers a path forward.
We provide career opportunities in a broad range of fields, including:
- Technology and engineering
- Finance and accountancy
- Sales and marketing
- Customer service
- Operations and business management
Our team members are supported through continuous training, real responsibility, and a culture of encouragement and growth.
Philip Popham, Managing Director of SECUREIT, says:
“People are the foundation of everything we do at SECUREIT. We’ve always invested in careers, not just roles — and it’s that investment in individuals that drives our success. When our people grow, our business grows with them.”
As Wales looks to the future, we’re proud to be part of a business community that sees career development as a priority — not just for the individual, but for the wider economy.
