At SECUREIT, we take great pride in being part of the communities we serve across South Wales. On Saturday 7th June, we were delighted to sponsor a race at the iconic Chepstow Racecourse, further demonstrating our commitment to supporting local sport and entertainment venues.

The ‘SECUREIT Supports Chepstow Racecourse’ Handicap, run over 7 furlongs and 16 yards, was one of the highlights of a warm and pleasant summer evening in Monmouthshire. A competitive field of runners took to the track in front of an enthusiastic crowd, all eager for a great evening of racing.

The race ended in convincing fashion with Ultramarine storming home to victory, finishing an impressive 4½ lengths ahead of the field. With odds of 5/1, it was a rewarding outcome for those who backed the winner. Congratulations to jockey Jordan Williams and trainer P D Evans on a superb performance.

Representing SECUREIT on the day was our Key Accounts Manager, John Reid, who had the honour of presenting the winner’s trophy to the proud owner. Reflecting on the occasion, John said:
“We were thrilled to be part of such a well-run event at Chepstow. Horse racing brings together so many different parts of the community, and it’s great to see local venues thriving. It’s also a reminder of the importance of safety and security at sporting venues, which is where we come in.”
