SECUREIT: Proud to Support Mental Health Hockey

SECUREIT proud to sponsor Mental Health Hockey

At SECUREIT, we are delighted to announce our sponsorship of player #68, Chris Thomas, as part of our new partnership with Mental Health Hockey — an inspiring charity making a real difference in the lives of so many across Wales and beyond.

Mental Health Hockey, formerly known as Team Mind, has already raised over £120,000 for mental health charities through its involvement in the UK Charity All Stars ice hockey tournament. Beyond the impressive fundraising totals, this incredible team is creating vital conversations about mental health, offering support, and breaking down stigma within the ice hockey community and further afield.

Supporting Chris and the wider team was an easy decision for us at SECUREIT. As a family-run business dedicated to protecting people, property, and businesses, we understand that security doesn’t just mean safeguarding physical spaces — it means looking after people’s wellbeing too. The ethos of Mental Health Hockey, which champions openness, resilience, and community, is perfectly aligned with our own values.

Our Managing Director Philip Popham put it best:

“We are proud to stand alongside a team that’s not just playing for trophies but playing to make a lasting, positive impact on mental health awareness. Supporting Chris and Mental Health Hockey reflects our belief in the power of community, conversation, and care.”

We wish Chris and the entire Mental Health Hockey team every success in their season — both on and off the ice. Your efforts are an inspiration, and we are honoured to be part of your journey.
