Supporting Newport’s Industrial Future: SECUREIT Stands Ready
Newport has long been a city of innovation, industry, and infrastructure. From its pivotal role in the first Industrial Revolution to its current position at the forefront of cutting-edge technology, advanced manufacturing, and clean energy, Newport is once again leading the way in powering the future.
At SECUREIT, we couldn’t agree more with the sentiments expressed by Jessica Morden MP in her recent column highlighting the transformation of Newport into a hub for skilled jobs, advanced engineering, and strategic investment. As a family-run business based in Wales and one of the fastest-growing fire prevention and CCTV security providers in the region, we are proud to support and protect the businesses that are shaping the next chapter of Newport’s success story.
From pioneering developments in battery technology at EnerSys, to world-class semiconductor innovation at KLA, and the transformation of the Uskmouth power station into a major energy storage site, Newport is attracting investment and talent on a global scale. This growth presents huge opportunities — and also a responsibility to ensure that businesses, assets, and people are kept secure.
At SECUREIT, we are already partnering with some of Newport’s most forward-thinking organisations, including:
- Alacrity Foundation, a launchpad for entrepreneurs and technology start-ups.
- Inspired Business Media, a leader in B2B events and networking.
- Rougemont School, one of Wales’ leading independent day schools.
These partnerships reflect our commitment to delivering tailored, high-quality security solutions to organisations that are making a difference — whether in education, entrepreneurship, or enterprise.
Philip Popham, Managing Director at SECUREIT, says:
“Newport has always been a place of progress. As it leads the way in new industries, SECUREIT stands ready to support the growth and protect the future of the city’s businesses. We are proud to work alongside ambitious, innovative organisations who share our values of quality, commitment, and forward-thinking.”
As Newport’s economy continues to evolve, so too does the need for responsive, robust, and trusted security services. At SECUREIT, we bring the technology, expertise, and local understanding needed to help Newport’s businesses thrive.
Let’s build the future together – securely.
